In August 2022, Aurora launched the Aurora Community grants program within the Fast grants program, approved by Aurora DAO in April 2022 ([[Approved] Approval of Aurora Fast Grants Program](https://forum.aurora.dev/t/approved-approval-of-aurora-fast-grants-program/237)). However, due to the significant drop in exchange rates, the budget has been fully used. Since the launch Communities performed well producing education and awareness content: Aurora Community produces a significant amount of unique content in social media (YouTube, Telegram, Twitter, Medium, Instagram) in various languages (Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, Hindi, Philippine, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Ukrainian, and others) and covers news related to Aurora Ecosystem, spreads awareness across the world. Aurora Community news stream channel and core chat (for team leads of communities and ecosystem projects) where the Community shares and pushes Ecosystem news 24/7 through all its own social media. Aurora Community has published over 778 articles on Medium, 140+ videos on YouTube, and more than two thousand infographics; Aurora Community has its weekly podcast on Spotify, Tamago, SoundCloud, Aurora Expert bot (quick access to Aurora Ecosystem dapps, Community Swag Store and Community beta-testing team. Aurora Community works with famous bloggers, crypto influencers, and media. Complete list of activities is provided here [Aurora Community: join us ๐Ÿ’š](https://forum.aurora.dev/t/aurora-community-join-us/1687) Considering the efficient work of the Aurora Community, the following is suggested: **Proposal:** 1. Continue support Aurora regional communities and community media partners in countries with high crypto adoption: Aurora Africa, Aurora Brazil, Aurora China, Aurora Philippines, Aurora India, Aurora Indonesia, Aurora LATAM, Aurora Tรผrkiye, Aurora Venezuela, Aurora Vietnam; Aurority (media partner promo, infographic, AMA), Aurora Insider (media partner, promo, infographic, AMA), Aurora NFT club (promo, onboarding artists on Aurora NFT-marketplaces, AMA, weekly newsletters), Aurora Hunters (users onboarding from other blockchains, marketing, promo, community events, contests, quests, quizzes, etc.) and other potential communities with similar values. 2. To track results and measure success, we have a Community dashboard [https://auroradao.club](https://auroradao.club) daily, weekly, and monthly growth, cost per user for each social media, weekly plan, and community activities calendar; we review AMAs and contests and give recommendations to Community leaders; have weekly, biweekly calls with community leaders; monthly reports on Aurora governance forum: [Aurora Community reports - Aurora](https://forum.aurora.dev/c/community/reports/16). Our KPIs are: community growth, onboarding users from other blockchains, Aurora, and Ecosystem awareness; 3. Aurora Community is requesting funding to continue operating and attracting new users into Aurora ecosystem. We are requesting grant funding for the year 2023 of Aurora Community activities at $35K/month with slightly quarterly growth, Media Partners at $25K/month and other grants for ecosystem at $25K/month. The approximate spendings are presented below: ![3](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/flex013/uploads/aurora/original/2X/e/e99c6d22848fe680239563686abcdd7d74b18353.png) Based on the above, we propose to transfer $AURORA 5 million to aurora-dao-bvi.sputnik-dao.near as a budget for Community grants support. ![2022-12-14 07.19.37](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/flex013/uploads/aurora/original/2X/e/e6d2eee920f0be6a5826be034604067a28aeb062.jpeg) ---
