Here are some specific proposals for how decentralized government could be implemented:
Voting: Voting could be done using a blockchain-based system. This would allow for secure and tamper-proof voting, as well as the ability to track voter turnout.
Budgeting: Government spending could be tracked using a blockchain-based system. This would allow for the public to see how their tax dollars are being spent.
Lawmaking: Laws could be made by a DAO. This would allow for the lawmaking process to be more transparent and democratic.
It must operate transparently from the community. No one manages the community, users can make suggestions, vote for themselves, decide the direction of decentralization.
Hello friends, I got to know blockchain and all this world a short time ago, I have only 6 months in it. During that time I learned a lot with Aurora and her Dapps, I also learned about Web3. About the DAO I wish there was a community vote to start burning Aurora tokens.
I see several advantages in decentralized government.
The first plus is transparency, since all decisions appear in the public ledger of blockchains, which gives transparency to the entire system.
Also, all citizens can decide some important issues by universal suffrage, the decision of which cannot be faked.
A reward for this or that activity within the state, for example, for an active position on a healthy lifestyle, bonus tokens are accrued, etc.
Of the minuses, it’s probably a long decision-making, because if we talk about the masses of adoptions and a large number of users in a decentralized system, then for example, some kind of voting to bypass everyone, it will take a lot of time.
There is also a problem in scaling, if almost all people on the planet use the blockchain, then the network can break, there may be delays, stops, etc.
Everyone can give ideas on how the ecosystem can be improved, you can vote for the ideas that truly add to the growth of the project and benefit all users.
You know, I haven’t been in the crypto community for quite a long time and I still don’t know much, there is still much to be learned, and therefore it is difficult for me to express my thoughts or position on the DAO. In any case, I believe in the Near and Aurora project and try to accumulate them and despite the difficult time I hope that everything will be resolved and experienced people at the helm of the project will achieve success.
Decentralized Governance Network (DGN):
A Decentralized Governance Network is an interconnected ecosystem of various DAOs and governance platforms. It allows DAOs to collaborate, share resources, and make collective decisions that affect the entire network.
I am a part of it from long time and i love my time spent here
Decentralized government represents a paradigm shift in governance, where blockchain technology enables transparency, inclusivity, and direct participation.
Aurora gives vote token for staking will be excited to see the use case of it in near fututre
I see most DAOs today with very one sided voting structures… I believe for decentralized voting to work… The voting system should be decentralized, using aurora as an example first of all, there should be a fixed number of votes one person or wallet should be able to delegate towards a decision… Recently I voted on STG dao and noticed the decisions were already at 90% to 4% and I was on the 4% end IMO this doesn’t reflect decentralization… Hence I believe more innovation and inclusiveness will improve voting systems since the crypto and web3space is still in its infant stages
In summary… I believe more innovation and adoption will improve voting systems
Although I am not a specialist in the subject, something I have noticed in the decentralized government is that when proposals are made to be voted on, a very technical language is used, difficult for ordinary people to understand.
It should be remembered that not all of us who enter the Web3 world and use the services of blockchain networks are specialists in the subject. My proposal is to use a simpler language that is closer to people.
