This proposal is to approve retention by Aurora DAO (BVI) of the 17,702,213 AURORA tokens refunded from the previously approved Proximity Labs grant, and to authorize their use for Aurora community and ecosystem support purposes.
In March 2022, Aurora DAO approved a grant of 25,000,000 AURORA to Proximity Labs to support the Aurora ecosystem through open-source software development, R&D support, strategic advisory, and grants to relevant projects. [Approved] Partnership with Proximity Labs.
A portion of this allocation was used for those purposes, as per the [Report] De-Fi projects, Aurora <> Proximity Labs - #10 by Egor, while the remaining 17,702,213 AURORA was not used and was refunded to Aurora DAO (BVI) on November 5-6, 2025. Tx links:

Given that these tokens were originally allocated for the benefit of the Aurora ecosystem, it is proposed that the refunded amount remain with Aurora DAO (BVI) and continue to be used for ecosystem-related purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, community support initiatives, ecosystem development, strategic partnerships, grants, liquidity support, builder support, growth initiatives, and other activities directly contributing to Aurora ecosystem expansion and long-term sustainability.
For the avoidance of doubt, these refunded tokens shall be used for ecosystem and community support purposes only, and not for unrelated corporate, operational, or non-ecosystem expenses of Aurora Labs.
To ensure transparency and accountability, Aurora DAO (BVI) shall provide periodic reporting on the use of these tokens, including a summary of allocations and supported initiatives, with such reports to be disclosed on the Aurora forum on a regular basis.

Approve that the refunded 17,702,213 AURORA tokens returned from the Proximity Labs grant shall remain with Aurora DAO (BVI) and may be used by Aurora DAO (BVI) solely for Aurora community and ecosystem support purposes, including grants, strategic initiatives, builder support, partnerships, and ecosystem development activities, with periodic public reporting on the use of such tokens.
