Proposal to transfer 2 000 000 (2 million) Aurora tokens to Aurora Labs for Aurora Platform (the Platform) technical development and enhancements.

The funds will be used for the following purposes:

  • enhance security and reliability of the Platform as a compensation for reporting bugs, security exploits, vulnerabilities and etc.
  • remuneration to contractors engaged in the Platform technical capabilities’ development;
  • research and development activities with the benefit of the Platform;
  • audits of the contracts

The funds to be distributed from DAO balance for future projects bucket according to the token distribution document

@Alex thanks for raising this proposal. We know from historical precedents that setting aside funds to pay for generous bug bounties and reward white hat contributors can be an extremely effective security measure - especially given more recent exploits in multi-chain bridges.
