This proposal is to continue the arrangement previously approved under Proposal #3, which expired on July 31, 2025.
The purpose of the Aurora Validator remains to partially offset the costs of transaction relaying, including free transactions for Aurora users through Aurora Pass, as well as protocol development. These activities continue to be primarily carried out by Aurora Labs.
Since the rationale and structure of Proposal #3 remain unchanged, it is proposed to continue this allocation retrospectively for the period from August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2027.
Aurora DAO service entities, and therefore Aurora DAO, shall continue to retain full control over the Aurora Validator. Aurora Labs shall continue to receive the portion of validator proceeds available after deducting the amount required for operational needs of Aurora DAO service entities.
Proposal:
Approve the allocation to Aurora Labs of the part of NEAR tokens accumulated on the Aurora Validator, after deducting the amount required for operational purposes of Aurora DAO service entities, for the period from August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2027.
