WHO WE ARE: Aurora sandboxers are aurora community members who are enthusiastic about the growth of the ecosystem and the projects built within.
WHAT WE DO: This program is meant to train and get enthusiastic AURORA community members ready for community and developer engagement within ecosystem projects.
WHO CAN BECOME A SANDBOXER: We are not limited to anyone regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, color, belief, etc. Anyone enthusiastic bout the success of the Aurora ecosystem and projects built on Aurora can become a member.
HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER: It takes only your willingness to become an active participant in the Aurora community to be part of this great movement for the future. You can participate as a tutor or a student.
DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT WHY, HOW, AND WHEN?
WHY?
Given the rapid growth of the Aurora ecosystem baked on the project built within, it is important that out of the experience, we avoid certain issues that led to falls, slow speeds, or lack of quality hands in taking charge of many positions within the ecosystem projects.
Aurora Sandboxers are thus trained community members in areas of community management, community moderation, social media managers, designers, developers, content creators, etc that are given to making great contributions to the effective growth of Aurora projects.
HOW?
Aurora Sandboxers comprises two categories of community members, namely Trainers and trainees. The trainers are given to concise education on skill and ecosystem novices in other to make them fit for community activities. This they do by creating educational materials and holding classes with these newcomers. The trainees are the novices who seek to become better and get opportunities within the ecosystem.
The structure of the AURORA SANDBOXERS program is designed to run thus;
A one-three month training of community members depending on the skill set put trained members into two weeks or one-month internship program with community guilds or projects to be able to gain more practical experience so as to make them be hired by ecosystem projects.
WHEN?
This program is scheduled to kick off immediately and last for as long as the Aurora ecosystem exists
HOW DO THESE STUDENTS LEARN AND HOW DOES THE COMMUNITY KNOW THEY ARE LEARNING?
Aurora Sandboxers shall have a Twitter handle, Medium Pag, Youtube page, Instagram handle, and Telegram group for all sandboxers, and a GitHub account to show all activities of developers.
All these pages shall contain the works of the trainers for mass information transportation, mass education, and enhancing skill growth based on the ecosystem.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT AFTER THE TRAINING PERIODS?
After community members are trained, they are recommended to the general ecosystem for available jobs from projects built on Aurora. Projects are responsible for choosing who they deem as best fit but also the community shall monitor all activities between these graduates and projects. This is to help curb ill treatment from project owners who won’t want to pay this set of enthusiastic community members as they work.
Also, there shall be a monthly report form to be filled by both projects and these graduates who have found slots to help monitor from both ends.
Our aim is to make the ecosystem full of capable hands and grow in the right direction because only the right people can do the right things
