As an Aurora Flare, the ambassador becomes part of a network of community leaders who ignite the way forward. The ambassador will have the opportunity to:
- Develop engaging and insightful content that highlights the innovative aspects of Aurora’s technology through blogs, videos, and educational resources.
- Provide guidance to newcomers exploring the Aurora ecosystem by creating compelling tutorials, hosting meetups, and facilitating interactive sessions to spark interest and foster understanding.
- Enhance Aurora’s visibility by amplifying the ambassador’s message across social media platforms, sharing key project milestones, and offering unique perspectives to engage the broader blockchain community.
The Aurora Flares Program provides the structure for the Ambassador. In return for these contributions, Aurora Flares will receive rewards that can go from USD 50 to 1000 in $AURORA, access to the Beta Testers Club, along with unique NFTs and Aurora-branded swag.
By the end of January 2025, expect to have about 30 Flares creating ripple effects felt across the Aurora universe. The Program will be going forward as well if proven beneficial for ecosystem.

The limit for each ambassador to receive the reward is USD 1,000 in $AURORA per month. By the End of the first quarter of 2025, the monthly spending is expected to be around USD 30,000 in $AURORA, and the maximum spending for the whole quarter of USD 90,000 in $AURORA. Starting from the Q2 we expect the growth of the ambassadors up to 50 and the charges up to USD 50k per month. The total expected budget is in the enable below.

The onboarding process
1 - The candidate uses the form to apply, available on https://aurora.dev/ambassadors
2 - If selected by the Aurora Team, the candidate is invited to a video interview to further understand if they are a fit for the role.
3 - If the team considers them to be a fit, they are invited to join an Ambassador Notion Space, receive an Ambassador Role on Discord, and are also invited to join the Flares platform for the rewards distribution.
Trial Period
Just as with the previous Stars Force program, the Aurora Flares will include a trial period for all ambassadors. During the first month, new ambassadors will be on a probationary period where they will be evaluated based on their activity, quality of contributions, and overall engagement. After this initial phase, the most committed and impactful ambassadors will be invited to continue their journey as official Aurora Flares.
This trial period ensures that our ambassadors are not only enthusiastic about Aurora but also aligned with the program’s long-term vision and capable of contributing meaningfully to the community.
Others
Changes. At our sole discretion, Aurora DAO reserves the right to change or modify portions of the Ambassador Program at any time. If we do this, we will post the changes on this page and indicate at the top of this page the date these terms were last revised. Any such changes will become effective no earlier than five (5) days after they are posted, except that changes made for legal reasons will be effective immediately.
Termination. Aurora DAO could terminate the Ambassador Program immediately with any Applicants if the Applicant broke the terms and conditions. Additionally, every further application could be denied by Aurora DAO if the Applicant broke the terms and conditions.
Intellectual properties. Using the open-source software of the AURORA blockchain platform, you should conduct with any additional terms and licenses specified on the page of software and AURORA blockchain platform.
Trademark. The Ambassador Program does not grant permission to use the trade names, trademarks, service marks, or product names without prior written permission of Aurora DAO.
Governing Law. All matters relating to this Ambassador Program and any dispute or claim arising therefrom or related thereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the British Virgin Islands.
Proposal:
- Approve Aurora Flares Ambassador Program and yearly budget of 540,000 USD in $AURORA for the one quarter period from the date of approval.
- No additional funding from the Aurora treasury is required, outstanding balances from the proposal will be used in addition to any validator’s rewards if required.
- Assign Aurora Labs Limited (Gibraltar) as technical provider of grants allocation.
- Aurora DAO Ltd. (BVI) shall provide to the DAO report on the actual Flares Ambassador Program budget usage on a recurring basis. The report should be disclosed on https://forum.aurora.dao/ on annual basis or more frequently.
