Aurora Community Telegram TipBot Version 2.0 - Development
Purpose
We are excited to present a proposal for the integration of new features into the Aurora Community Telegram TipBot.
With the growing popularity of Aurora and its vibrant regional & Operational Media communities, we believe that enhancing the capabilities of the Aurora Community Telegram TipBot will greatly benefit the user experience and engagement within the community.
The proposed features will enrich the bot’s tipping, airdrop, giveaway, and interactive functionalities, providing more opportunities for users to engage, participate, and be rewarded.

Scope:
We have outlined the features that we plan to integrate into the Aurora Tip Bot as part of two milestone phases. This Proposal is only for the First milestone
First milestone:
1. Tipping multiple users
Description: Tipping Multiple Users at once
Command: /tip 1 @usernameA @usernameB
Sends each 1 Aurora to UsernameA & UsernameB
2. Airdrop
Description: An airdrop is a distribution of free tokens to a specific group of users. In this case, the first 10 users who send AuroraisNEAR will receive a share of 2 Aurora tokens.
Command: /airdrop AmountTotal TokenName NumberOfPeople
E.g. - /airdrop 2 Aurora 10
3. Airdrop with Custom Keyword
Command: /airdrop AmountTotal TokenName NumberOfPeople #keyword
E.g. - /airdrop 2 Aurora 10 #AuroraHunters
Airdrops 2 Aurora equally split to the First 10 Users who send keywords as #AuroraHunters.
4. Giveaway with Default #Keyword
Description: If a Group doesn’t want people to flood the chat with an airdrop command, the /Giveaway command can be used.
Command: /giveaway AmountTotal TokenName NumberOfPeople
E.g. - /giveaway 2 Aurora 10
Giveaway 2 Aurora split equally to the First 10 Users who Click the button aurora or #AuroraisNEAR button appears as the reply from the bot.
5. Giveaway with Custom #Keyword
Description: If the Group doesn’t want people to flood the chat with an airdrop command, the /Giveaway command can be used.
Command: /giveaway AmountTotal TokenName NumberOfPeople #keyword
E.g. - /giveaway 2 Aurora 10 #AuroraHunters
Giveaway 2 Aurora split to the First 10 Users who Click the button as the #AuroraHunters button appears as the reply from the bot.
6. Draw / Raffle
(Eg. The first 10 active users randomly selected who send AuroraisNEAR will receive a random share of 20 Aurora)
Description: A raffle is a type of giveaway in which users have to perform an action to enter, and then a winner is selected randomly. In this case, the first 10 active users who send AuroraisNEAR will be entered into a raffle, and 10 winners will be randomly selected to receive a random share of 20 Aurora tokens.
Command: /draw AmountTotal TokenName NumberOfPeople
E.g. - /draw 2 Aurora 10
7. Draw / Raffle with Custom #Keyword
Command: /draw AmountTotal TokenName NumberOfPeople #keyword
E.g. - /draw 2 Aurora 10 #AuroraHunters
8. Tip Rain
(Eg. 10 lucky users randomly selected in the group will get 0.1 Aurora for each.)
Description: A tip rain is a type of giveaway in which tokens are distributed randomly to a group of users. In this case, 10 lucky users will be randomly selected in the group, and each will receive 0.1 Aurora tokens.
Command: /rain TokenAmount TokenName NumberOfPeople
E.g. - /rain 2 Aurora 10
9. Check Aurora’s Price
Description:
This feature will allow users to check the current price of Aurora tokens.
Second milestone:
10. Bot Language as per Native Community
Description:
This feature will allow users to set the bot language to their preferred language as per the Native community.
11. Invite to Aurora Plus through Tip Bot
Description: This feature will allow users to invite others to join the Aurora Plus community through the tip bot.
12. Swap Tip - (Eg. SWAP 10 Aurora to Bastion)
Description:
The swap tip feature will allow users to exchange Aurora tokens for Bastion tokens.
Timeline:
Phase 1: First Milestone (Estimated duration: 4 weeks)
- Week 1: Requirements gathering and finalizing feature specifications.
- Week 2-3: Development of tipping multiple users and airdrop features.
- Week 4-6: Implementation of airdrop with custom keyword and giveaway with default keyword.
- Week 6-8: Development of giveaway with custom keyword, draw/raffle features, and integration of bot language selection.
Budget:
The total funding required for the First milestones is $8,000 USD.
We kindly request the community’s support in funding this initiative to bring these exciting features to life.
We are confident that integrating these features will benefit existing users and attract new users to the Aurora ecosystem. This will contribute to the growth and success of the community as a whole.
